Prosecution user from all state departments

Police users having ICJS credentials

Cases which are received from police (physical files) to Prosecution office/user can be entered in eProsecution portal through Manual Case Entry option.

Cases directly received from Police user through eProsecution portal (online case available no manual entry required)

Police user logged in with ICJS login credential and submits the case by selecting desired prosecution office.

SCRB (State Crime and Record Bureau) will create police users for ICJS/prosecution logins.

FIR Details (from ICJS – brief |from State – detailed information – including gist of chargesheet).

Case Details based on CNR or Case or FIR no. along with all orders and judgement. Etc.

Cause-list from the courts for a particular day.

Police User on Test – The purpose is conduct training using police credentials and may also handover police credential to users for testing. (The reason for this is 2F authentication associated with ICJS login which is not operational on test or demo site)

Police User on Production – ICJS credential by SCRB. No provision for creating police users on production.

Internal forwarding – within the prosecution department.

External forwarding – outside the prosecution department like Police etc.

In Legal opinion & Draft Chargesheet – Name of Complainant, Act/Section, FIR no., FIR Reg. date, IO name etc.

DUTR stands for Daily Under Trial Recording.

Prosecutor may enter past activities.

Same day DUTR entry can only be modified.

Data quality issue will be there from CIS system that is absence of some of the key fields required for case entry in case disposal/DUTR.

In case of DUTR, select Other no. option and make the DUTR entry.
